Central Language Academy is truly a model school for caring, understanding and loving teachers. My child is enrolled in the dual immersion program and it is incredible for me to see her blossom academically not in one, but two languages. Central teachers are committed to their students and are genuinely concerned for their well being. The Central Language Academy leadership and staff are committed to helping develop all students into globally competent human beings. It is the type of school where all parents feel proud to send their children.

Being part of the Central Language Academy community is an awesome experience. Not only does the school employ a great and talented staff, the leadership is excellent. Community is the way I would describe the culture here. Our students learn the basics of reading and writing, but so much more. This school is dedicated to teach the "whole" child. My boys are in the Dual Immersion program, they are learning to be fluent in Spanish (not our home language), they are involved in the school folklorico group, they learn about other cultures, and they look forward to going to school and learning. The parent support is incredible! The CLA PTA is going strong after only 3 short years as a group. Parents take it upon themselves to organize group outings for whoever is interested in joining, like a "mom's group" but so much more. The testing is treated as important but not the most important event at school. Overall, I would say the students get a quality education that couldn't be obtained anywhere else in the area. I thank the dedicated teachers and support staff, as well as the administration for creating such a caring environment for students.

CLA is by far the best school I could have chosen for my kids. Here they are in the dual language program where they are learning Spanish as a second language and in fifth grade they can also learn Mandarin. The teachers are Amazing this is our 3rd year here and I am in love with the closeness of the teachers, parents and staff. The Parent involvement is Incredible, we work so hard to help the teachers so our students have supplies and paperwork ready so our teachers have help. The students are such hardworkers and have dedicated their time to learn the languages and it's Amazing to see how fast they learn and pick up Spanish. The Principal is new but was our Vice last year so I know this year will be even more Fantastic. I hope our school wins it is so Awesome, I appreciate all the hardwork and dedication from the Staff, Parents and Students.

This is an amazing dual languge school. My kids are learning to speak Spanish and when they are in upper grade they will have the opportunity to learn Mandarin as well. The teachers are very dedicated, parent involvement is incredible, and the administrators are excellent and supportive of staff and parents.

I can't believe the success my son is having at this school. My son s fluency in another language is a gift; something my wife or I could ever have given him or done on our own. All of our apprehensiveness has vanished as we are able to see the progress, the transformation, and the success, he and the other students are experiencing.

I have a son who attends Central Language Academy and my daughter will be going next year. What a great school!!The staff is supportive, friendly and smart. The ptrincipal is an outstanding leader. There is a lot of parent involvement. I love this school.

I have two children who are in kinder and first. They are both enrolled in the dual language immersion program. The program itself is wonderful! The teachers and staff are so helpful and kind. The teachers exude there caring nature with the children. The principal is a gentle, kind, compassionate,and a fair person. The kids' all adore Mr. Bentley. The school demonstrates great comradery. Everyone is always excited to welcome anyone new to the school, especially parent volunteers! :) Central has a lot to be proud of. They had done very well on their AYP testing, and they became Central Language Academy as of this past August 2008! Keep up the great work! :)

My son is in the third grade. I am very pleased with the progress he has made this year. He has a concerned, enthusiastic teacher. I hope the teacher moves to fourth grade next year. so he can have her again.

My daughter attended kindergarten this year and really enjoyed it. She had a great teacher and it seemed to be a good atmosphere for learning. The major problem with the school is that it is an 'improvement' school. This is the main reason we will be moving this summer. We tried to integrate our daughter, but it has not worked out.
