My child has been attending Prospect for 3 years now and even though progress is slow, the school is definately making progress. We look forward to growing with Prospect and continuing to help make the school better. The most important thing our school lacks is parent involvement. If more parents cared about the school as well as their students academics, Prospect would be a much more 'rounded' school.

Parent support for this school is deplorable. The quality of academic programs are geared to provide a good education for everyone without holding anyone back. The principal and staff are dedicated, compassionate and hard working. They are making every effort to improve scores. They do enforce discipline, but discipline also needs to be enforced at home. What they lack is parent support and involvement in what they are trying to accomplish. Complain less-support more. Get involved and make a difference.

Discipline is low and parental involvement with school and with children at home is missing. Yes, children go to school to learn, put the parents are failing the school and their children by not being involved.

What a horrible school. I was a long term sub and was shocked! The students are rude and disrespectful. There is little to no discipline or uniform enforcement. Furthermore, the school lacks adequate support for its overwhelming second lang. learners. I would not recommend this school to teach at or send you child to!

All my children have gone to this school. This could have been a very good school, but with extrememly high non-English speaking parents, guardians, etc..., the limited number of good teachers there that are not bi-lingual, the communication, and limited number of translators provided by the Orange Unifired School District, what do you expect? There are some parents and guardians there that are trying their best to participate, but communication plays a very big factor to it all. Dr. Bruce is a very good principal and she needs a real supportive staff and OCSD that believes in her.

Terrible school system. Child was 3 minutes late (kindergartener no less) and received a tardy report. Children picking on others and getting into fights and no staff willing to help.
