Our children were attending this school but every year they have less to offer and they cut programs. The office staff can be rude and unknowlegeable. The teachers you meet with are good, but the school as a whole is lacking. There are other choices in this valley, thankfully.

I had a great experience with my son at this school. He was able to raise his grades and the tutors were very helpful to him when he needed it for math. Mrs.K. Walters was very kind to my son and I appreciated her patience with him and the positive outlook on his success.

Some of the teachers do not have enough knowledge or education to teach! I think this is more a business than a school to the teachers and the staff! I had two kids over there whom I had to take some where else! Very rude behavior!

I homeschooled through AVLA last year. I found the office staff to be rude and inexperienced with homeschooling. The learning centers are more for socializing than learning. I found a much more homeschool friendly charter in the AV that I'm very happy with that has one central learning center for all grades.

My daughter and I absolutely LOVE this school! All the staff from office to teachers to other parents and students go out of their way to help all the parents and students achieve their goals. The supervising teacher is available to help you at all times and they have tutoring at various locations and all kinds of hours. The enrichment/learning center classes are wonderful! My daughter LOVES goes to class and our school time at home. She is able to get the small class setting and tons of one-on-one instruction she thrives on for learning. I'm SO glad I found this school!!!

Absolutely wonderful in every way! Has been one of the greatest things to be a part of for both myself and my child. We will continue going to this school until we are no longer able to due to moving out of the area or high school graduation!
