The teachers and program staff are highly trained and work hard to ensure all students reach their potential. The school has onsite mental health staff who provide individual therapy sessions, family therapy, and supportive groups for the students, helping them through expressive arts to understand and cope with their feelings.

Achievekids helps children that do not fit in within the public school system, many with multiple intellectual, emotional, or mental disabilities. It is a place where even the most challenged youths can make remarkable progress. Where once they were likely living in isolation, Achievekids provides a safe community where the students can learn how to live much more successfully and independently. The work that Achievekids does goes well beyond helping an individual student. Their mission touches families, local employers, and the community at large.
