After the arrival of new principal Mr. Chait, the school has shown tremendous improvement. The scores have gone up. Students are having more activities, good P.E (Principal makes sure to play with students everyday!) teachers are on their toes and are ready to help parents any time. More parent involvement. Good office administration. Parents feel free to discuss their problems with the Principal. Not only the principal is very active and effective, he also makes others participate in everything actively and effectively. Hats off to new Principal, Mr. Chait. Keep up your hard work Mr. Chait. Since the new principal Mr. Chait came to Chase the test scores have risen significantly. I believe he is really concerned about the welfare of the students. The two teacher my grandchildren have seem committed to teaching and the welfare of students.
For the past year Chase Street has been improving in different aspects due to our new principal that came aboard last year. Mr. Chait has demonstrate lots of dedication to our kids and specially to our kids school 'Chase St. Elem' he has brought different programs and involving more parents to attend meetings. As a full time employee its always impossible to remember everything and now that Mr. Chait calls to remember of special events gives me an opportunity to get more involve. I would like to thank Mr. Chait for a wonderful job his doing at Chase St. Elem.
The new principal is a very dedicated person. You see him playing with the students as well disciplining them. You never see him cooped in his office. As for the parent center is lead by great parent who give interesting classes that help not only the parents with their children but helps the parents with themselves. They are very caring people who are willing to help you out. Keep up the good work.
A new principal recently started at Chase Street Elementary School. The previous principal just retired. Mr. Chiat may bring new ideas with him, with an eagerness to make some fresh changes/improvements to the school. Both of my boys attend (grades 2 & K), and I have had only good experiences with their teachers and school staff. The school is in the process of expansion & improvement. I'm looking forward to the next few years my boys will continue to attend.
This is my son's third year in Chase School. I was very satisfied from Pre-k and Kindergarden. He was doing very well. Last year 1st teacher disappointed me alot. I request to the Principal to change my son or to encourge her to be more involve as observing this teacher. I give her lots of example and her actitude was as if she really didn't care. As of other teachers and parents she know about his situation and really doesn't try to force him to get better in his teaching. Luckyly that my son got lots of help thru his Pre-Kindergarden teacher in which she transfer to 1st grade and was able to keep him in speed with all the 1st grader level. Many thanks to Mrs. Palacios for all her dedication and support.
The SRLDP program is fantastic. The Pre-school teacher and her aid are amazing with our children. They are truly dedicated to our kids. I am so impressed with the the school, the program, and the teachers.
