This was my former elementary school and now my little brother attends this school and he loves it just as much as I did growing up. Great school, great teachers, also great staff at the office. I'm pleased to know they are still doing a great job.
Hello. My name is Zeke Zendejas and I am the Store Director of the Food4Less in Panorama City. I would like to tell all teachers and parents about how they can help raise money for the school through the Community Rewards program. This program is designed to give back to the non-profit organizations in the community. You could help raise hundreds of dollars for after school programs, book supplies, or new computers for your classrooms. Please visit Food4Less.com and go to Community Rewards for all the details. Feel free to call me @ (818) 830-7085 or stop by the store for more info.
My son's teacher is great and their afterschool program (YDP) is great.
This school was good when I was still there. It's been a 4 years since I've been there and I've noticed a difference. The school when I went there was good, the teachers were extremely nice and they showed me that I needed to pursue my dreams and get good grades. But when I culminated they changed a lot of things to make the school better. So I wouldn't know if it's good or not now. But I'm guessing thy're trying to make it good.
In my opinion, the teachers were quite young and I believe not able to balance other issues than the book teachings they have to follow. I was never told if my children were having trouble. It was only until I went to the school and asked their teachers questions- when I was told that they needed help for this and that. When prior to my questioning I was always told 'they are doing well'. I guess this school (or these teachers in particular) are a 'you don't ask, we don't tell' policy. I was let down by this school as I would assume they would keep parents informed of their children learning or not learning, being that they are in their care for 6hrs. Event and photo fliers were given the day before or day of. As a working mom I missed seeing my children perform.
Exceptional school. Wonderful staff. We had to move and the most difficult thing to do for us and our children was to say goodbye to everyone. We miss them tremendously. We have yet to find a school than can match up to Liggett's standards, care and academics.
I think it is an ok school.
This school is so great. From the teachers to the office workers. Most importantly they offer a wonderful free after-school program, Youth Services. Those coaches are so wonderful to the children. A great school for any child to experience.
This was a great school for my child! My daughter was so motivated to learn and all the teachers were so friendly and got involved in my child's learning process.
