My children have attended here for 2 years and we have loved every minute. The teachers and staff are caring and supportive.

Staff are very caring, but overall this school lacks leadership.

All 4 of our children attended PES. Our family had a very good experience in the 16 years that we had our children there(except for one year with a principal that only was there one year). I volunteered in the classroom and had the opportunity to be very involved in their schooling. It is an older school (built in the 30's), but the staff and faculty from the top on down was dedicated to the students, families and the school environment. When we were there, the academic opportunities were there, from Title 1 to GATE, along with a great music program. Arts and sports weren't quite as available, but the community at large provided these programs.

I was not thrilled. The school itself is dark and dingy...just not pleasant.
