My three children (8, 10, 12) have been at LILA for one year and are enjoying it. Two of them are studying 2 languages and my third child is learning 3 languages. The multicultural aspect of this school is amazing : you can hear students and parents speaking two or more languages (among which English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Chinese...). The teachers do a great job and are very respectful of each individual. The classes include less than 20 students and are very well equiped (smartboards, etc). The School welcomes artists in resident on a regular basis. Finally, this year, the basketball team has been very successful and the jogging club also has outstanding runners. In a nutshell, the whole family is proud to "give a big five" to this wonderful school : go LILA !

My children have been at LILA, Pasadena since they were 4 and 2, and they are now 10 and 8. They are learning not only two languages, but how to be creative thinkers and citizens of the world at large. LILA provides a nurturing and intimate environment in which the strongest attributes of the French and American educational systems are applied to develop confident, open-minded, multilingual world citizens equipped to thrive in a competitive international market

I sent my child to this school becaue of the class size and curriculum. We transfered from Los Feliz campus. I beleive this education is light year's ahead of public school. But there is no sports program and learning two languages French and English is difficult to grasp for the parents as much as the child. The concept is good and I believe that this school gives your child an advanatage in terms of ability to learn and being worldly and not contained to the USA. The monrovia campus is better than Los Feliz becuase of the size of the campus but the facility is not as good as Los Feliz.

LILA Monrovia/Pasadena is an excellent private school program! The teachers are dedicated to the success and achievements of their students. Students have the opportunity to master 2 great languages in a positive and disciplined environment.

The school excels in neither Englsih nor French. Both curriculums are geared towards students who can accomplish the lowest common denominator in both languages. The cycle system that is promised on the school website is never implemented. The administration is non-responsive and backwards. Your tuition dollars are better spent somewhere else.
