Not a bad school. Since moving here, my child has thrived as a student, an athlete and overall person. All of her teachers have been wonderful and push her to her potential. Security at the school was once an issue, but not so much any more. The administrative staff has done a great job.
I'm currently a student at PATTERSON HIGH SCHOOL. The school may have had problems, but every school has, just some our publicly and some aren't..we are a school that is open, to everyone. Coming from a private school, Sacred Heart I thought I'd have more of a difficult time. But it has never been a problem, always welcoming. We have many advanced academic classes, and most teachers, I have a good relationship with and have helped me out not just in the classroom. My counselor, as a junior is Martinez, she takes time out of anything she's doing, just for a minutes conversation. I think PATTERSON HIGH gets put down, for just i don't know why, but we do. Friday night football games are where the whole town will be found. We are a small town. Everyone waves to all, and are friendly. I love attending PHS
Too many kids get lost in the cracks. I'm transferring my child out.
I have sent all three of my children to this school, and I must say that it has been one the greatest decisions I have ever made concerning my childrens' education. By starting them off at the private school of Sacred Heart in Patterson and putting them in Patterson High, they have become great individuals. This way, they have learned morals and ethics as well as having a quality education. Then, going to Patterson High, they have learned to accept all types of people and have become more prepared for the real world. There are more than plenty of extracurricular activities, very good ones. I highly recommend this school.
Academic programs in this school; for, they offer many AP and Honors courses. However, many of these courses lack a quality teacher. Extracurricular actvities are great; there's a lot to chose from.
As a former student of patterson high school I would not send my child there. there classes are to full and the teachers excluding a few are not very attentive to students needs. I am embarrassed to say that I went to patterson. Wish I were able to have went to a better high school. All of the surrounding schools laughed when I said I went to patterson. I will never have my children attend any patterson school. Their teaching subjects are not up to par to the rest of the surrounding schools. I would reccomend central catholic, which has always gotten wonderful reviews and the students are more involved with their class and clubs. They also have remained to have students with outstanding grades. This school an exceptional school to attend.
Great school all around! Great teachers, great kids!
great biology department, but thats about it
