Small and intimate school setting with a lot of individual attention. Love this school very much, great teachers, and staff.
As the parent of a daughter in 3rd grade at Valley Vista, I couldn't be more pleased with the school's infrastructure, teachers commitment and knowledge and the administration. It's a great local school focused on academics, project based learning, and electives necessary for providing a well rounded education. The parent community is also inclusive and friendly.
I couldn't be happier with the start of a new school year for my Kindergartner. The staff is extremely responsive, the aftercare is exceptional and I am even happy about the after school enrichment programs...a very creative way to put creativity back into the public shool system.
Wonderful inclusive environment with strong academics enhanced by music, PE, garden, computer lab, rotating mini-electives (teachers share their best talents), special events, reading/science programs for advanced students, parent participation welcomed and well utilized, afterschool enrichment program (cooking, sports, instrument, wildlife etc...), easy to use aftercare for all kinds of needs... The whole family is taken care of here, and the learning is abundant.
Great school! I have two kids in the school and have been very happy. Excellent enrichment, wonderful teachers, very involved parents. Highly recommended
My daughter attended Valley Vista from K-6th grade thru 2006. She loved the school, the teachers and the much loved day care staff. Plenty of parent involvement, music, drama, garden, nurturing and diversity. Safe, caring and academic. I would recommend for newcomers.
This school is great, they are very accomidating and have some of the most carig teachers that I have met.
