The Pinon Mesa experience is always a pleasant one. The office people are friendly, the teachers are ready for business, and the counselors always have an open door. Above all the principals do there best to see things through in a timely manner. My daughter loved Pinon Mesa most for the awesome job of the ASB and the outstanding advisor who guides the young people at this school. Keep up the enthusiam!

The quality of most programs in general are very high. The problem I have is not just with PMMS but all schools in the Snowline district or any other school system that does this. If a student fails a class (like math)in 6th grade and then goes to summer school to make it up and fails that course also, they are still permitted to advance to 7th grade math the next year. Isn't this a formular for failure? If the student does not get the basics in 6th grade, how is he or she expected to know it in 7th grade? I feel the student should not be promoted or permitted to take the more advanced class until they pass the course and not wait until the 8th grade to retain them.
