My children have been attending North Ranchito since 2008 when they closed down their previous school, Pio Pico Elementary, currently my kids love their teachers but often talk about there old school and of how much they miss their old principle. As a parent I seen a positive transition from one school to the next because had that not happened a lot of our neighborhood kids would of never even known of the other, they basically would stay in there little box unfortunately.
My sons first year at north ranchito school he was going to pio pico till they closed that down.My son is doing good in school. He loves his teacher my son is very picky with teachers and his teacher is excellent with him, he feels very comfortable going to this school an they are tryin to get him out of his lil box he teacher is Mr. Loroura rm 4 thanks for being a excellent teacher to my son!!!!!!!!!!!
This school is recognized by it's high score test report. Thanks to all the wonderful and dedicated teachers and principal.I know that you teachers are doing an excellent job aaaa++ to all. Thank you. I am a parent i want to inform all the parents that every thursday (reminder) we are having a meeting on the proposals for all the elementary in pico rivera. Please be a part and speak out for the rights of our children. Choose what is best and the proposal is not good for our children. Thusday 27th at el rancho high school. At 6pm. Please come.
My son just started North Ranchito 2 months ago and is doing great. His teacher is always communicating with my husband and I on our son's progress. The staff is wonderful.
This school really lacks commitment to its students. They don't offer any assistance to its first graders. Morning reading tutoring is only offered to second thru fifth grade students. After school programs are also for second thru fifth grade students only. Summer school is only for, again, second thru fifth graders. I've also wondered if they realize that they have first graders in this school. When they committed to testing my daughter for learning disabilities, they totally forgot to do it. It wasn't until I called for the results that they began testing her. That was at the end of the year. Any public school would really get on parents when one of its students was not performing. Not this one. Myself and my wife tried to do every thing in our power to get our daughter to become a better student. Just a concerned parent.
I am a very happy parent of a student in this School. My best regards and appreciation for the teachers that have worked with my son. They have done so much in his education. In his behavior at school. In all the subjects. Mr Wise did a lot that I am deeply gratefull for what he did. And now Miss Fen she is a great teacher everything always the best for the kids.
This school is great in encouraging, inspiring, and loving the students. Teachers and Office staff care about the kids. They nip discipline problems in the butt. Great school for kids. Family oriented and they try to keep the kids close to one another for support.
