Rivera Elementary School

Rivera Elementary is an awesome school and has the highest test scores in the district! Teachers and staff are always going above and beyond in all areas. The focus is always on the children and their success. The atmosphere at Rivera Elementary is that of a very close family. Rivera's teachers are priceless and have always come together with staff/parents/students to make things happen whether it be a new playground, re-vamped library or fighting to keep staff on, the challenge is never too big and Rivera Eagles always stay strong!

The 4th grade team deserves credit for my daughter's CST scores. Rivera has a wonderful principal and had a wonderful group of teachers. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, we have lost some of those amazing teachers. The CST scores of the students will show what an amazing school this truly is.

It is a pleasant feeling to know Rivera staff works as a team. They care about every student (no matter what grade level). All teacher's super exceed all parents expectations!!!!I I recommend this school to all parents looking for quality education.

This school is, by far, the best in the area. Parent involvement & extracurricular activities have improved, ten fold in the past 3 years. Keep in mind that my daughter is in 3rd grade & a GATE student. I also, consider myself to be a very involved parent. The PTO organizes lots of family activities throughout the year & the staff & teachers go above & beyond there duties.

This school has wonderful teachers. There is not much extracurricular activities, but they do have girl scout meetings. There needs to be more parent involvement in the school

I was very pleased with the curriculm my girls recieved in Kindergarten. They had an outstanding first time teacher that I highly recommend. Great school! Parents, remember that it takes the teacher and parent to have a child excel and succeed.
