Excellent education prepares students for life after school. School is known for sending their best and brightest to premier universities, such as USC and UCLA. Mesrobian, in 1965, became the first Armenian school in the United States. The school is a family-environment, clean, and safe.

Armenian Mesrobian School supplements an English-based curriculum with Armenian language and history studies. Currently, 2 of my 3 children are enrolled, and have been since pre-K. I plan to enroll my youngest in the fall. The tuition is reasonable for a private school, however you must donate time and/or additional monies for fund-raisers. The administrative staff and faculty provide a safe and challenging academic environment. Beginning with 2nd grade, the expectations are demanding, with little support for children with special needs. The inverse is also true for children who excel beyond his/her grade level in one or more subjects. Middle and High School course electives and extra-curricular opportunities are limited. This is probably due to the School s lower than usual enrollment, high teacher turnover, and limited budget and resources. Class sizes average below 20 students. I can recommend it only in contrast to most of the schools in the district.
