Charter Community School Home Study Academy

We are in our second year at Charter Community and we LOVE this school! We feel so blessed and lucky to live in an area where we can participate in this program. This program has *everything* we were looking for! The teachers are amazing and each one of them knows every single student's name, even if they aren't their assigned core teacher. The teachers give us tons of materials to work with and the freedom to tailor make our daughter's curriculum, while still meeting the state guidelines. We also love all the social events that are held throughout the year, like the craft fair, the Math Mania parties, etc. They are so much fun and gives our daughter a good social outlet, even though she is homeschooled. All around, this program is fantasic and I would never dream of choosing another school for my girls.

This school is a terrific alternative program for parents who want more say in how/what their children are taught. State standards are maintained while kids/parents choose many of their own projects/activities. It's a friendly, nurturing environment where student respect is expected. The teachers are kind and the principal is awesome!

My son has done well in this school. We can choose our own curriculum and get to go on a lot of great fieldtrips/living histories. I recommend this school.
