It is a small school with a big heart! Children go to school with their neighborhood friends, parents volunteer in the classrooms and run fundraisers. Many of the teachers have taught there for years. Everyone is proud to be involved with their neighborhood school.
The administration is purely just a dictatorship. They have no interest in what a parent feels is best for their child. They have combo classes in every grade level and few bad teachers that they won't do anything about! Perhaps when they get a new principal things will change for the better.
AWESOME school with wonderful and caring teachers who truly reach out to each child's individual needs! The parent participation makes this school exceptional with lots of extra activities going on all year! My child has excelled here because of the caring staff, remarkable teachers, and dedicated parents and families!

Love the school.. teachers, staff, parents and all.
Gold Oak has been an excellent school for my child. She is now in the first grade, and an advanced reader. The teachers all get together monthly to review each child's progress in language arts, and then assign the child to a reading class that fits their needs. Her teachers have all been very helpful with any problem that has arisen, and are willing to go the extra step to provide help and advice.
