Both of my children went to this school for five years, after which time we moved out of state. The best thing was that the principal knew every student by name and cared a lot for every child. The educational part was geared towards the students ability with students being guided towards their goals in a non-pushy way. Thanks to all my sons teachers and the principal, my son graduated high school after 11th grade without a problem. Thank you for caring.

City of Knowledge was one of the most enriching students -- with an extremely supportive environment, excellent academics, and one of the most wonderful administrations. I ended up pursuing multiple graduate degrees and have excelled academically. I give much of the credit to my foundations built at the City of Knowledge.

I'm a graduate of City of Knowledge. They offer a great curriculum (challenging elementary and middle school; AP and UC-approved courses for high schoolers) in a wonderful environment. I had a great experience and went on to one of the top universities in the nation. I highly recommend it!

My daughter just finished first grade here and my son is getting ready to join her in kindergarten when she goes back for second grade. She has gained a knowledge of reading, writing and performing plays in Arabic. She loves going to school and has gained a reinforced sense of her culture and identity. Her teacher is amazingly passionate and dedicated and the principal treats all the children like her own. I'm so grateful for the care and attentiveness of all the staff, and the individualized care they provide

I have been working at this school for more than 10 years and have three of my children in this school from preschool to high school. City of Knowledge is an excellent school. I am happy and proud of it and my kids are very happy and extremely proud of the school. The school fosters a great environment through high school. It is the only Islamic school that has a UC approved and WASC accredited college prep school. families come from different schools of thought and some non-Muslims and all enjoy a spirit of brotherhood, respect, and sensitivity. City of Knowledge is an amazing institution of academic excellence, high moral values, community service, and passion. Everyone feels like a big family. Students are pushed to do their best. Graduates are high achievers MashaAllah. I dont have any children in the school and I wish I had school age children but I do go to the school's programs and do volunteer and watch it very closely. When we drop our daughter off at school we feel so comfortable because we feel that we are leaving her with family. That is the atmosphere at City of knowledge School. The school offers a safe and nurturing environment for the child to grow and develop. From the principal, to the office staff, to the teachers; they all make you feel at home. The preschool teacher Sister Hayat and her assistant Sister Haifa are amazing with the children. They treat the children like their own. Sister Hayat's approach to teaching creates a sense of confidence and accomplishment in the child. She is very enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and it is very evident in the children's interest in learning. Because of her enthusiasm and caring ways, our daughter has developed both emotionally and academically and has become more confident. She has developed a positive attitude toward learning and is exciting every morning to go to school. Since starting at the school, our daughter has excelled in all aspects of learning including religion, academic and social skills. In our opinion, the preschool program at City of Knowledge offers the best early childhood education a child can experience.

City of Knowedge is an educational institution that is doing its best to provide an Islamic identity for our youth. It has provided my children with a sense of Islamic stability, that no other public or private institution could provide. It keeps up with other schools in terms of rigour and credibility. It is a true gem.

I was a student there and went onto a UC. I think the school serves the community well, and provides excellent services to the students. That said, currently the school is not as good as when I attended simply because some of the finer teachers that were at the school have left and due to their humble funding, they are unable to provide higher quality. I love the school because it is a beautiful idea and a selfless institution and everyone there just wants to help you as much as they can. I dislike the school because of low funding.

My name is Roujina,I can honestly say City of Knowledge is the best school I have ever attended. It has the best academics, caring teachers, and an amazing administrative team. They care about the well being of students and how to teach them right from wrong ethically and socially. They teache us how to survive and carry ourselves in the real world. C of K provides so much that public schools do not and I am speaking from experience. I went to public school for most of my life. I found that they do not provide care and love like C of K. C of K provides us with ethics courses, as well as Arabic and Qur'an. Among the school's extracurriculars are its CKS Royals soccer teams for both boys and girls. We also participated in the Pomona art contest this year and had sixteen winners out of 32 total winners for the district's private and public schools (that is 50%. At City of Knowledge we have amazing volunteers, parents, faculty, and staff, who feel like a second family to us. I feel safe and happy at City of K and I plan on graduating from it Insha Allah. I give it the highest rating possible. I love my school and am thankful every day for the opportunity to attend it.

The school has a very positive impact on our three children and is the perfect partner that is helping us raise them. I m satisfied with the school s academics as well as with the extra curriculum activities it offers. Like the high school and the junior high soccer teams; I never miss a game, three straight years my son played on the CKS Royals soccer team. I m so happy with the amount of teamwork and support the students have amongst each other as well as with their positive attitude toward other teams they played (especially when they lose). This year I m so impressed with the extra curriculum class where the high school students went to different schools and advocated anti-bullying issue in their presentations to elementary and junior high school students. Also, the Peace Art Project Contest, all students got involved and presented their pieces of art to Pomona School District. City of Knowledge School had quite a few winners; but besides that, this activity open up students eyes on tolerance, acceptance, and moral issues that are very important in helping them build their social skills. City of Knowledge is a blessing for the community Muslims and non-Muslims. Open door policy where teachers, staff, and administration listen and accomodate so much to support families and students Amazing record f success and acheivement among the graduates at all levels. A very strong math program and a superior reading program Close students supervision even on social media and continuously give advise and bring speakers to educate the students in religion and social maters. Facility is very well maintained. Extracuricular activities and field trips. Friendly environment. I advise any parent who cares about his children to send them to City of Knowledge. On graduation all the seniors give a speech and one Saudi graduate in her speech this year said that she had been in the US only 2 years and when she entered City of Knowledge she only knew two words of english (Yes & No). This graduate after 2 years at City of Knowledge gave the most impressive, clear, and effective speech in english and she had a lot of good things to say about the school & so did the rest of the gras. Well done City of Knowledge. Keep it up. May Allah bless those who work at and support City of Knowledge.

You see them in all the Masjeds and you ask them where do you go to school they all say UCLA, UC Berkeley, UCI, Claremonte graduate school, Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers, Engineers, and more. City of knowledge is an outstanding school; my son had the chance to experience it while we were on a two month holiday. He attended the school for about a month and a half. In this short period of time he learned a lot. As Muslim parents we all wish that our children get the best education as well as live in a highly Islamic environment, and Alhamdulillah those two aspects are present in the city of knowledge. Adding to that, the principle, teachers and staff are all highly qualified and if it wasn t for them the school wouldn t have succeeded. Without doubt if I ever move to America, city of knowledge will be the school for my children. May Allah bless this school and always be a door of success inshallah.

Our children were enrolled in non-Islamic private schools before we learned about City of Knowledge. As a religious duty we immediately moved them to this great school and we are very happy for making such a decision. Our children are getting rigorous academic education, Islamic classes, Arabic classes, Islamic plays, extracurricular activities, and participate in sports and competitions. In addition they are enjoying a very safe environment, great family like friends, halal food, and they perform Salat at school. Teachers, staff, volunteers, and administration are very qualified, kind, and open for suggestions. This school should be the parent's first choice for their children education. We fully trust and thank the school and Allah for making available for our children such a wonderful institution to protect them today, prepare them for the future, and the Hereafter.

I had a great experience at City of Knowledge. I attended the school for 6 years and went on to UCLA immediately after graduating. I found that the City of Knowledge teachers were highly competent and that the staff and administration were truly focused on providing a solid and well-rounded education to the students. After receiving a great education, making amazing friends, and attending two top universities for undergrad and graduate school, I would not trade my experience at City of Knowledge for any other!

I attended City of Knowledge from 4th grade till high school graduation. Much is to be said about this amazing school. Not only notorious in academia, City of Knowledge preps students to take on great leadership positions later on in their lives' by equipping them with morals, citizenship, and spirituality. This school is unique because it tweaks the courses' material to meet the development of the student. Students graduate from this school appreciative of knowledge, culture, religion, and diversity. Unlike many private school, City of Knowledge is hub of diverse cultures, ethnicities, and nationalities. Some of the features of the school: state of the art laboratory, cafeteria, auditorium, and library. I would undoubtedly send my children to this school, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for quality education and a healthy development for their children.

I have two boys attending the City of Knowledge School since 2007, one in elementary and the other now in High School. This school not only concentrates on high academic standards, but also works towards improving the students ethics, behaviour and self-confidence. I am very proud of my boys & how they are growing up & grateful to all the teachers who work hard with the kids. All this is based on the fact that we have a very strong, disciplined leadership in the form of the Principal, Dr Shaikley. This is a fantastic school to put your kids in.

From 1998 till now I have three students attending City of Knowledge, a junior, sophomore, and a 4th grader. Because of the high academic expectations of the school and the challenges this school offers, one of my children was able to skip a grade. As for my junior, he has received endless hours of counseling and college prep from the school that he is determined admission to prestige universities. In addition to the moral teachings and discipline the school enforces on its students, the Islamic environment is always present in every class and activity. Islamic unity and behavior is clearly visible at this school. Furthermore, this school offers many extracurricular activities and clubs such as the ASB, Honors Society, 313, drama, Digital yearbook. It offers a variety of AP classes(Bilogy,Chemistry,Calculus,Enviroment,English) This school has been accredited by WASC. All the classes are UC approved and all the teachers have high academic achievements.

Two of our children attended City of Knowledge and we have now pulled both out. The quality of the academic program is very low. Our oldest daughter basically watched a lot of movies in class and did not even complete the minimum curriclum requirements for the 5th grade. The extracurricular activites are nonexistent. Also, there are serious discipline problems with many of the students. The school administration refuses to face these problems. Both of our daughers are way behind academically. One wonders how this school could even maintain its accreditation.

City of Knowledge has successfully combined discipline and academics into a comfortable learning environment. Its tight knit structure allows for enhanced individual attention as well as both personal and academic growth City of Knowledge embraces diversity as well as moral and ethical values that promote both mutual and personal respect thus creating an enhanced learning atmosphere. The school understands the importance of extra curricular activities and encourages students to participate in its many clubs (Honor Society, Associated Student Body, Student Government, School Newspaper etc). The active participation of parents and highly qualified staff have together created an exceptionally friendly atmosphere for kids to prosper in. Being an alumnus I proudly recommend your children to the City of Knowledge.

City of Knowledge school has truly stuck to its principles in incorporating a well-rounded education for its students. Students not only learn the basics, but they get an extra advantage in learning religion as well as various languages (arabic and spanish. The small class rooms are also wonderful, as teachers get to spend more time with each student to ensure better understanding of material. Overall, this school is phenomenal.

Great school that maintains high academic standards and also incorporates Islam. Having graduating and going on to college, I have been able to keep up with academia and ensure that I am living an Islamic lifestyle when I am away from home. It is like a family.

Our children have been at City of Knowledge since Pre-school. Our experience has been very positive. The key to the school's success is its honest, humble, caring, and dedicated leadership. The principal is reachable seven days a week 24 hours a day for our children and for us regardless of what our needs are. The atmosphere is very safe and non-intimidating. Teachers offer their help at recess, lunch, after school and during their free time just to make sure our children are getting all the help they need to succeed. The academic program is very rigorous and the environment is highly ethical and moral.

Excellent school. I graduated in 2000 and went straight to UCLA, and I was very prepared for the college environment (academically and socially). Now I am in law school at USC. I was very pleased with the education I received there, and I will enroll my own kids there when I have some.
