Son graduated with honors last year. The curriculum is challenging , but with hard work and the instruction of the teachers your child will succeed and be well prepared for high school. Now my son is taking honors classes at a catholic high school and is doing well. Daughter is graduating this fall and we have no issues academically. If a child is not doing well in a public school, after receiving honors at St. Joseph, it might not be because of the school, you will not get them to grade level in a few months if this school did not prepare them . My son had issues with math and was tutored after school with other children that wanted the extra help that St. Joseph teachers give to their students that want it or need it. Thank you, Mrs. Gor.

Great school when it comes to teaching catholic religion. Lacks greatly on academics, was pretty disappointed to find that while my daughter was getting honors and student of the month at St Joseph, yet did public school assessment and was found to score way below average. took a lot of work to get her up to grade level ;[

Amazing School. I graduated Class of '09. This school has changed tremendoulsy for the better. I know this so because I have heard the horror things they did to my uncle in '64. Now they have astound teachers ( non-nuns) who really care about the ed...ucation of the student. The children there have grown to be more than just classmates, but also family. I had some prodigious, precious memories while attending here. No doubt, I will be taking my own children to my alam mater.

Wonderful staff from the office staff, principal and teachers. VEry warm, welcoming environment and safe. Very affordable compared to other Catholic schools within the area. Excellent mission statement that is applied to the children's everyday routine, including God in their lives.

All the Teachers are skilled educators. They help you understand concepts and problems you may overcome. The teachers also believe in making you the best possible students you can be. They teach you moral that you will need throughout your whole life. Despite the fact we are a Catholic School the school accepts anyone no matter what your religion is. We have had a great experience with this school. The teachers and staff are wonderful and most are very helpful. They know the students by name, and treat them with respect. The teachers and principal are willing to work with us in any way possible.

They are unwilling to adapt teaching styles for kids. Huge class sizes. Principal will always back the teacher if there is a difference of opinion with a parent.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
