This is the only school in the district...yet have you seen the level of education? One school and they still can't get it right? All that's right...let's blame the parents and students. How about the teacher and the superintendent? Vote for vouchers and get your child into a private school!

I am an alumni of this school having attended here in the 70's and early 80's. I chose to get a district transfer so that my twins sons would be able to attend here. It is a small country school now averaging approximately 140 students. When I attended the enrollment was around 70 students. The school is in transition with a new building project beginning. It has a very active Parent Club. The teachers in the grades of K-4 are dedicated and very involved more so than the teachers in 5-8th. The 5/6 and 7/8 grades are combined. Class sizes tend to be smaller and each teacher has a full day instructional aide provided to them which is considerably different than I have heard from teachers in the Porterville Unified School District. The principal is in her second year with the school district. She is very involved and supportive.
