Ormondale Elementary School

Amazing school! Teachers are excellent! Great parent involvement. Principal is innovative, very approachable and involved. There are many classes that enrich the child's education in addition to the standard math, reading and writing. Computer lab, art, spanish, music, P.E. are all classes included the the weekly schedule in kindergarten. A parent couldn't ask for more!

Yes, Ormondale is an excellent school. Parents are volunteering everywhere, teachers are held to a high standard (and some a bit spoiled). If your child is a high-achieving student you will be very happy. We have two children attending and they both struggle in their own way with the intense curriculum. There is homework every night for K-3. We and other families actively address our concerns to the teachers, principal and superintendent about the high pressure environment however, each yr. is ratcheted up.

Our second child is now starting at Ormondale, and we love it! It is a 'private school education' at a 'public school price'.

In general, we have been absolutely thrilled with the programs at Ormondale and believe that this school has provided our child (2nd grade) with the strongest education we could ask for from a public school.
