This school struggles to keep up with rest of the world. My student is still attending 7 classes per day here. The work given is hardly manageable. The school needs to jump on the band wagon and get out of old ruts, and look into some type of block scheduling. My child used to attend 3 classes per day and received a 4.0 gpa. Now my student is overwhelmed by the number of classes and has dropped to a 3.0. Also the Principal at this school wouldn't left a finger if there wasn't something in it for her. The students that receive bad grades are disciplined for their actions the students the receive good grades(when they break the rules) are simply sent back to class with nothing more than a slap on the hand. This school is in need of some major help!! NEW ADMINISTRATION would be a wonderful start!!

The school has improved a lot ( not that it was bad before) with the new principal, she is very involved and positive. Discipline is generally dealt with promptly and appropriately. As for prior comments made about lack of discipline in relation to teachers' cars being keyed, I think the person writing that was poorly informed. As in most cases, there was a lot more to that event than publicly known, and as in most situations, people are quick to assume and judge .

The kids are pretty good here. I see a lot of involvement from the staff. The VP is excellent and the overall atmosphere is very positive.

There is absolutely no discipline for this school. Teachers send unruly students to the office and the principal just sends them back. The 7th and 8th grade are awful. Teachers get their cars keyed and not much was done with the student who did it. Discipline in classrooms hinder learning as the children are too afraid to complain and are trying to protect themselves.
