I am a parent who had my kids attend there for 10 years. I had always loved the montessori method and my children excelled there. However, I have to say since they moved to the new campus the montesori method has gone out the window and they should just say they are a mainstream school. I moved my child out of there this year becouse I realized the teacher, who she had as a teacher several times before, was just not interested in teaching anymore. She would give bad grades without explaination or a way to make them up. Even if the kids made As from that day on- the grade over all in the subject never rose over a D. Meetings were asked for and this teacherwould deny there was a problem. If you go there, just do it through elementary the trasnfer to a middle school, there is no difference in care anymore. At least in the middle school, there are sports and arts provided to the students.
Our school has a great teaching staff along with an awesome principal and support staff. However, the parent involvement is lacking. I encourage more parents to get involved in the school and the PTSA!
This school provides alternative education within the public school system. My kids had great teachers and a wonderful educational experience.
They do a great job of working with each child and encourage the kids to work together and have self respect. My daughter graduated from there with only 15 other students and they were all friends and responsible young adults.
Overall I am satisfied with the education my child is receiving at this school. The students seem quite happy and are enthusiastic about their work and the teachers are extremely committed.
I am so glad that my kids go to this school. My son started in the eighth grade, and my daughter started in the seventh grade. They will both graduate from this school in the next two years, and we will miss everyone. The teachers are fantastic, they care about the kids, and help them grow in a way that we never experienced at the
Excellent school with an alternative program for students that don't fit well with traditional education.
RCS's structure of combining different grade levels within the same classroom encourages students to teach and learn from each other in a very unique environment.
Great school with great teachers! I couldn't be happier with the growth my daughter has experienced there.
