Individual attention, establishment of good habits, small campus, teachers who really know how to teach Kindergarteners, structure with some flexibility built in. They learn so much so quickly, and love doing it. My son loves going to school, and I'm stunned at how much he has learned. The summer before Kindergarten, he barely knew all the sounds of the letters, and midway through Kindergarten he reads, does simple adding and subtracting, and writes in a journal (not too many complete sentences for my kid, but other kids can). Depending on the year & how many Kindergartners, they have long hours - 8:30-1:15. Homework 5 days a week, but the result is worth the effort.
