We moved here from Orange County where we were very pleased with their educational standards and practice. I was concerned about the move out of my child's comfort zone in grade school where she thrived; living in a completely new area seemed a bit daunting. However, the quality of instruction and peers, administration and parent involvement is outstanding! The transition to Miralieste was seamless and we love it! We pay a price to live in this area/district and it is worth every cent.
Miraleste has some very dedicated teachers but there are a handful that should be removed. I feel if there was a good principal, these problems would be addressed. Miraleste needs a leader with good people skills and compassion for the children. until they replace the principal, there will be problems.
Miraleste is challenging, yet has not burt out my son. He looks forward to going to everyday. What more can I say?
I am a 7th grader here at Miraleste and I really enjoy this school. There are so many wonderful kids and teachers. I made so many friends my first year here in 6th grade. I have a bunch of friends and I can garentee that any kid that comes to this school will have namy memorable years.
miraleste i have to say its a good school unlike, l.a.u.s.d the teachers actually care in my 6th grade year i had some troubles but now im in 7th and i love it!
This is a great school! its great for students but very protective parents may get worried there son/daughter might get lost during breaks. But the teachers are nice and we get a great education there.
Excellent school. We are impressed with the school's standards and the education our son is receiving. We are so fortunate to live in Palos Verdes and have such an outstanding level of education from a public school. The school environment is excellent and my son has always been happy there. I wish I could have grown up with a high school like this one. I'm jealous!
This is THE best school ever! Ms. Wood ROCKS! This is better than P.v. And Ridgecrest and PVIS combined! (Even if I'm supposed to go to Ridgcrest!
Miraleste is a good school, but the classes are quite large, and unless the children are highly self-motivated, they do get lost in the cracks. We are moving my son to a different school next year. We think that, due to the upcoming layoffs and resulting larger class sizes, the problems will get worse.
Miraleste is the best school ever! I especially love Mrs. Kieft! She is the best.
