My oldest started kindergarten last year at this school and is now in first grade also.My second will start kindergarten next year.I love this school.My oldest has learned so much and is eager to learn more.He loves his teachers and has nothing bad to say about anything at this school.I wish i could be more involved than what i am but like alot of parents I have many children of different ages that fill my mornings and evenings.I will be proud to send all my children to this amazing school where they will expand their minds

My oldest child started kindergarten last year at this school, and is now in 1st grade. My youngest started kindergarten this year. I have been totally impressed with the academic program at the school, and the commitment to the arts program, especially the music for the higher grades. While I think the level of parent involvement is not the best, the teachers and aids and the principle more than compensate for that. I am extremely happy with the education my children are receiving and I can't say enough about the talented teaching staff. My oldest was reading at the 2nd grade level by the end of kindergarten. Amazing!

This is a great school, anyone who says othersise trully isn't taking full advantage in getting involved! My children have grown leaps and bounds in the years that they have attended Buckeye School of the Arts!!!! The school tests scores have grown and the litteracy progra that they follow is top notch! As for the principal...he has alot on his plate and it is hard to please all parents all the time, I feel that he dose his job to the best of his abillity. I have seen and experienced some of the issuses he has with some of the parents, and he deserves a medal!!!!! Plain and simple Buckeye is a safe great place for any child to learn and grow. I wouldn't seed my kids anywhere else.

I have been a parent at this school for a few years and I have seen a few questionable things. Some of the teachers complain a lot and there doesn't seem to be any parent involvement. A few parents I know are having extreme problems getting volunteers together for anything. Communication at this school is really bad. I do not blame the principal 100% for this, I firmly believe it is the district.

Last year I had nothing but trouble with this school. I feel like the principal doesn't take care of the problems and he takes forever getting back to you if there is a problem. He says the door is always open when you need to talk but I don't believe its true. Whenever you talk to him about anything its the same speech from him every time and then nothing happens. He needs to follow through with what he says and be more puntual when it comes to talking to parents.
