Little disapointed in the overall 2009/2010 API scores for Kingsbury. It's a tough job to get parents of different backgrounds to understand the importance of education. I believe that's what is reflected in the latest scores. Our jobs, as parents, is to help our children get the most out of these years so they are prepared for their future.
I love this school for my son who is 5th grade alomost done....I hate to see him leave this school....HE LOVES IT and wants to do stuff for the school.
My stepdaughter Isabella (Izzy) Giorgianni attends Kingsbury School. My husband Sean Giorgianni and myself are very pleased with Mrs. Wenzel. She is extraordinary with her students she goes above and beyond for her students as well. Mrs. Wenzel has the best interest to have her students reach their goals. Great Job Mrs. Wenzel !!!! Marisel and Sean Giorgianni
My daughter started kindergarten in August 2006. I could not be happier with her teacher, principal, classroom size, square footage and overall organization/cleanliness of her classroom. Her teacher communicates well with both students and parents and I consider my family very blessed to be able to attend Kingsbury. The expectations of Kingsbury for their students are very high and I believe that they offer every resource available, and then some, to enable their students to reach those expectations. Great School - 10 plus!
This is my sons first year at kingbury and I am already impressed with it,he came froma school in yucaipa and loves kingsbury alot more
The teachers and staff at kingsbury are devoted to a healthy and fun learnng enviorment.
My kids have been at this school over the last ten year period. Most of the teachers are awesome & we couldn't be happier. The school has ongoing problems with student attendance/tardiness which they have had for years. I have believe they are fair with their students and try to teach them to be responsible people. There are a few upper grade teachers who are not as high quality & if you look at their test scores you can see that they begin to decline in those grades. Overall, I give them a good rating and plan to enroll another child there in a few years.
I think that the school does not have enough positive reinforcement/rewards for good actions but the vice principal has initiated lots of severe consequences for tardiness, and minor problems. Overall I am not happy with this school.
