St. Lawrence ia a wonderful learning environment for my children. They are encouraged to learn and grow in God's love. The St. Lawrence community is strong and supportive. I love the new principal. He is always available and is often seen interacting with the children.

Unless you do not have any other options...do not go to this school! They are a very poor example of what a Catholic school should be...they do not promote Catholic values and beliefs, nor do they enfore or practice them! The leadership is weak at best, and several of the teachers there should NOT be teachers! It has been a huge disappointment to our family!

St. Lawrence is dedicated to 'become, belong and believe' in the moral and ethical values of all the students, with a high academic value, and to become caring community members, and responsible citizens... ,

Great academics, but not very culturally diverse. This school provided an excellent education but is very much into the material aspect of life. This is one of the more wealthy catholic schools in the area and that definitley shows in the children and parents. I personally prefer a more humble diverse environment centered on worshiping and following God rather than glorifying Him with what money can buy.

Have had two daughters graduate from SLM. The SLM community was and remains a tremendous strength in our life.

Excellent academics, recently won the California state academic decathlon. Parents are very involved, and are expected to contribute their time to support the school.

My son attended this school from 2nd thru 8th grade when he graduated in 2000. The atomosphere is one of loving discipline. Standards are high but all children are supported and made to feel welcome whether they are college bound or not. There is a great deal of parent involvement and the church is very supportive. The priests and nuns involved are friendly and supportive of the children and encourage participation in the community and in social justice issues as well as fostering personal moral integrity. I highly recommend this elementary school.
