Reedley High School does the best it possibly can with the little resources they are given. The staff is very hardworking and cares for their students. A really high point would be the marching band which has about 400 students and is famous within the Valley. There are always rumors and gossip about fighting, but really it happens very rarely.

I was so excited for my son to start RHS because of the band. He did have a great experience with the band, but otherwise, I'd have to say I've been extremely disappointed. There have been many fights on campus and bullying. Teachers aren't held accountable for not putting in grades on PowerSchool and many are months behind. Kids don't respect most teachers and most teachers don't respect the kids. My son is a 4.0 student who is bored and unmotivated here. There are great teachers here though, Mr. Friesen and Mr. Diebert and the music program is outstanding.

At RHS, I received all the classes I wanted and I never had to wait in long lines. It all depends when you register for your classes and how smart you are in organizing what classes you want. Most classes usually transfer in new students in the beginning of the month since some students aren't satisfied with their schedule.

I have never experienced such disorganization and unprofessionalism at a school before. On the 3rd day of school kids are still without classes and standing in ridiculously long lines attempting to be seen. Staff claims this is common every year!

Reedley High School is one of the best schools in California. They excel in academics, arts, and athletics. They are most known for their 400 member marching band, but their music programs such as choir, orchestra, symphonic & concert band, and their many other music classes are also known throughout California and continue to wow their audience. The academics are always topnotch. They place well for Academic Decathlon competitions and Forensics competitions. RHS offers many AP and Honors courses and have so many electives for students to choose from. The athletics at Reedley are always competitive against other schools. They always play their best and are a threat to other teams. The best thing about RHS is their spirit. Reedley High students know how to show their Pirate Pride. Reedley High School is the best.

Reedley High has the best marching band in California and probably the largest marching band with 400 members. There's a lot of courses that are fun and lots of challenging courses. A lot of AP classes, varieties of English classes like Creative Prose and Poetry or American Literature or English Literature or Chicano Literature or California Literature. They offer tons of fun classes. Tons of sports that many schools around the Central Valley don't offer. The principal really cares about the school and so do the teachers. There has always been a tradition of excellence at RHS and that's how it will always be. RHS Pirates are the best. Our music programs, sports programs, extracurricular programs, school, and everything that is RHS is #1. Many of our alumni have gone on to become successful. For example, One graduate created the chip for the WII.
