Really this is a top notch school that is a hidden gem. I am more impressed with this school than the $30,000 privates around the Valley. They provide; Singapore math, computer lab/teacher, Spanish, Science lab/teacher, art teacher, PE coach, yoga and karate on alternating Fridays, rigorous academics without ridiculous amounts of homework, fieldtrips, many extracurricular activities and too many school events to list. However, I think the most noteworthy thing is that nearly everyone is incredibly friendly, warm and caring. They really take the time to know your child, from the parents to the teachers. Kirk is a remarkable school. They even have a small organic farmer's market weekly. As my daughter put it "I am learning 100% more than in public". We love this school and it is affordable!

My son is now 4, and started at Kirk when he was 2. Overall, it has definitely been a positive experience. The teachers are warm, supportive, and have lots of wonderful experience. I am so thankful to have found Kirk. I feel that my son is getting a wonderful education, and I am considering Kirk for Kinder and maybe grades 1-5. Their tuition is definitely affordable, and one of the most reasonable in the valley. I feel comfortable with my decision to send him to Kirk, because I know he is safe. Wonderful community of families, and all of the kids are adorable. Great school!!! Would recommend to anyone in search of a school.

When we went to the first interview my 5 year old didn't say a word, we went for a second interview and again not a single word. The teachers at Kirk took the time to visit his preeschool and see him 'in action'. The philosohpy of Kirk is just amazing, their dedication and academics are impecable. this is an excellent affordable private school. My son is really happy. They have this 'caught being good' and good citizen rewards that teach them to be better persons.. Overall 5 stars!!

need more room to share: Because of all I had been through with 'other' schools, my expectations upon touring this school were severely lowered. I was planning to put my child through home school, but didn't like the idea due to his not having any siblings, and I don't know if I would be the ideal Kindergarten teacher. The philosophy was attractive, and my son was invited to tour the school. We did, and I saw a lot of changes and emotions of my son with that two hour visit alone. Jerry grew up so quickly that year, and transformed so much out of this fearful child with separation anxiety to a very confident boy who speaks his mind and has a lot of ideas. Even his reading skills improved; from resisting to carefully sounding out the word well. Thank you, Kirk

When we were looking for a elementary school for our son, we did a lot of research. We wanted a school that provided a well-rounded education and promoted good values. We were sold by Kirk's excellent KG program and we've been happy since. As others have said, this is not an exclusive private school with sprawling grounds and numerous facilities; but they more than compensate for it by their program. It is academically challenging yet supportive of each child's strengths and abilities, constructively disciplinary, racially and economically diverse, and offers extra-curricular enrichment. The Principal and her staff support the teachers in understanding trends in education and applying what makes sense. Moreover the teachers love working at this school and it shows in the way they care for our children. Our 2nd child is in pre-school at Kirk and will continue onto elementary. And this is testament enough!

When it was time for my son to go to pre-k, I looked at our local school and many alternatives in our area, including charter, magnate, and private. The moment I found Kirk I felt profound relief. The atmosphere is supportive, positive and children thrive both socially and academically. Wonderful enrichment programs are provided on site. I now have a child in pre-school and my son is in 2nd grade. I feel the staff are well supported, the principal is an excellent leader, always keeping her eye on improvements in education in every area and giving the school its positive feeling, and the mix of students is impressively broad. Definitely not an exclusionary private school. I have yet to be disappointed and feel very fortunate to have found Kirk.

This is my sons first year at Kirk and I couldn t be more impressed. Before picking the school I visited many other area schools and was not impressed. Then I found Kirk. When I came to Kirk for the first time I couldn t even believe how much better the school was then anything else in the area. Not only do they retain staff, but they have programs that stimulate my child. Every week my son goes to computer class, Spanish class and he even participates in a cooking class. He has grown more developmentally over the past 7 months than ever before and I plan to keep my son in the school for several years. The last thing I will say about Kirk is that it doesn t feel like a school, it feels like a family. The teachers, faculty, parents and other children care what happens at Kirk.

My son has attended Kirk since Kindergarten and we could not have placed him in a better school. The teachers and staff are the best. He is now in the 4th grade and because of the nurturing and caring environment and excellent education he is receiving at Kirk we could not recommend it more.
