I thought I had lost my son forever. He had been thrown out of every public school he ever attended for getting into fights and arguments with his teachers. He started smoking marajuana and then never seemed to come home at all. I didn't know what to do but cry until a special education teacher from Oakland told me about La Cheim School. La Cheim was small enought to give my son the individual educational and mental health attention he needed. Richard graduated from La Cheim 3 years ago. We are so proud of him. He now is in the U.S. Army and is working on his college degree. Thank you for everything La Cheim! Amy W.
I think this school is the best thing that can happen to a child.
