Three stars for academic quality, five for flexibility and caring staff. Because this is a continuation high school, there are many academically-challenged students and the staff does a great job at accommodating them. Because many students have difficult personal circumstances, they are mostly respectful of the efforts of the teaching staff and seem to appreciate the school. The campus is clean and seems safe. The best part, however, is that motivated students can take classes at the local Community College and receive high-school credits. My son is among those who graduated early by going to Mesquite and attending college classes. He is now in an Engineering PhD program on full scholarship.
Amazing school that cares about each student. Teachers that are top notch and know how to be flexible with individuality and still make sure your student gets the education they need to make it in the real world.
dedicated teachers who spend long hours helping the student. Excellent culinary curriculm for those intrested in that field. Faster pace teaching style that enhances a student's self guidance abilities. Parents are involved by giving tutoring support or participating in activites. A second chance for those who have need of making up units for their graduation . No help is refused.
