My son attended this school from K-12, and graduated. The average reading level is 4th grade. For my student, it held his interest until he hit middle school. In Middle and High school, his academics held little interest and he 'plateaued'. He does attend college now, but he is doing more remedial work, that was lacking at CSDR. Parental support is great in elementary classes, because of the teachers support...you don't receive encouragement from the staff in the Middle and High Schools, as one would hope to. Many students are residencial, and they are exposed to extra-curricular activities. Parental support is encouraged. ASL should be enforced in both home and school!
