My son has been at Montessori since he was 4 years old. He is now 7 and will start 2nd grade there next week. The teachers are amazing with the children, very caring. The one on one the students receive really has an impact on their ability to excel. I would highly recommend this school to any parent wanting their child to achieve an excellent education. The principal is amazing with parents and students as well. FIVE STARS *****

My son loved this school. The teachers and principal are kind and caring but have high standards. Since it is a small campus and small class size, there is a emphasis on community and a closeness that my son will remember the rest of his life. He was well prepared to move on to higher grades. The playground facilities and the instructional materials could use some updating but overall, I would recommed this school to anyone. Also, the tuition costs are reasonable and after school care is excellent. Just wished it was a larger campus and went through 6th grade.

The quality of the math, reading, and writing programs is excellent. Children are allowed to progress at their own pace. There does seem to be a lack of art, music, and social studies.

My child started Montessori Academy at the age of 5 years. He is in 3rd grade now and this school year is his last at Montessori Academy. My husband and I only wish the school goes beyond 3rd grade. The teachers are highly competent, knowledgeable of their teaching methods and highly demonstrate their expertise in bringing out the best in each child. The Principal is very kind, nurtures the children and knows each child by name. We are planning on sending our two other children to Montessori Academy simply for both their academic performance and excellent reputation overall, as well as the daily communication/updates that exist between the school personnel and parents.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
