We are in our final year here, I have two 6th graders. They started at Parker Whitney last year after moving here from Northern CA, and this is the first public school they have attended. It is a great school, the teachers will help with anything the students need help with, the assignments are online along with their current (up to date) grades, and you can see if your student has any missing assignments. Over all an outstanding school.

We just finished our first year at this school. We were nervous about the mixed K-1 program, but now that we have experienced it we love it. Our fifth grade son had a very academically challenging year. We feel like he really learned more than we expected. We had heard some negative things about the program from another parent, but we never experienced anything but high standards.

This school is pretty run down and teachers are tired of teaching, which is ineffective for the students. Lots of cliques, lots of teacher apathy, principal not open to conversations with concerned parents/guardians regarding issues with teachers. We took our student out of this school after the first trimester. Our student was well above the academic program here, virtually no extracurricular activities exist. Lots of parents are involved but a lot more are not.

This school challenged all 3 of our children academically. We love all the new musicals at the school. What a great way to end the school year. Our house is in a differnt school's area, but we are coming back to Parker Whitney next year!

Principal ineffective in controlling her staff. Teachers don't seem to enjoy what they are doing or unmotivated to be great teachers. It's been a sad fall I have watched the past 6 years.
