We have had nothing but problem with this school since we transferred here. My child is in the autistic spectrum and i dont feel that this school properly accommodates its disabled children. At this time my child no longer attends this school because after repeatedly trying to work with the IEP (individual education plan) team and them makeing broken promises we finally had enough. I would seriously reconsider sending any child here that has a disabilty. You will have to fight for your childs rights! On a possitive note the teachers are very nice and do care for the students.

I have a son in high school who attended Evergreen and I currently have a son in Kindergarden at Evergreen. The teachers at Evergreen have a lot of passion for teaching as well as a lot of patients with the children that need a little extra energy. The principle is out every morning greating parents as she makes sure we are parking in the right area. I could not ask for a better environment for my children to learn and grow in.

This school appears to have a lot of spirit and parent involvement. Some of the teachers are not seasoned and therefore get a little over angst about teaching. If you are an involved parent then it'll work great. The location is great and is a very safe neighborhood.

We chose Evergreen Elementary for their diversity of student body and dedication to achievement. The administrator, teachers, and staff are outstanding. In the higher grades, band & music appreciation are offered. The Art Docent program is lead by parents and is offered for all grade levels. Tutoring is available, and parent participation is welcome. The PTSO association plans many outstanding activities; fund raising is fun for the kids and focuses on achievement--the Walk-a-Thon in the Fall and a Spell-A-Thon in the Spring. As a family, all of our children have attended Evergreen, and we appreciate their focus and determination to ensure that every child is assisted to achieve to their highest potential.
