This is the best school. My students are challenged and encouraged. The principal has created a safe school and is ALWAYS at school. We have called her and she returns our phone call the same day. Not like the Middle school where the principal is never at school, and is a completely unsafe campus. My child comes home and tells us about fights everyday. We have call Mr. Smith and are still waiting for his call. Rockin' Robins are the best. The teachers and staff are great.

MY childeren have gone to Rosamond elem. for two years now. I have a 5th grader this year, and twins in kindergarten. My experiance has been quite Good thus far. My son and i both didn't care for the teacher he had last yr. but he still seemed to do well. We came from a private school so we r kinda used to being spoiled. However it was a easy ajustment. My children feel at home at RES. As a mother you can't ask for much more, Mrs.Buxton is very present on campus and is involved with the children and staff. She talks to the kids in a way that she would her own kids," like giving them nicknames".There is a great teacher to have in every grade. The ladies in the office are more than willing to always help the kids. thanks RES for making the learning process a joyful one... - A Loving mother_

My kids have gone here for 3 years now and what I love about the teachers/classes here is that the teachers try to give experiences to the kids rather than dumping piles of information over their heads. The kids seem to learn so much more in that kind of environment. The principals have been excellent managers and focus on rewarding the students. Plus Mrs. Buxton is hot!

I do not like the new principal this school year. She does not seem vested in the interest of the children. Information comes late from her and she does not seem to enjoy being a part of RES. She doesn't want to tackle discipline problems, but just want to brush off the situtations.

My first child is now in kindergarten at RES. She has Mrs. Hodsdon---WONDERFUL! Mrs. Yost in the office---WONDERFUL! Mrs. Buxton, the principal---WONDERFUL! This year they have had to implement an AM/PM Kindergarten schedule and they have been trying different apporaches to find what works most efficiently and smoothly with the children's safety their top priority. I couldn't be happier with my or my child's experience thus far!

Last year was wonderful for my child and she learned a lot and had a lot of fun at the same time. This 08/09 year so far does not look as promising! There is a new principle who has been very rude along with a new younger office worker. This first week of school was all about chaos! Besides the wonderful kindergarten teachers, no one else in the school had things together. I'm very disappointed so far, how the school has changed in a few months! I will be reporting some complaints to the school district from my own experiences, and I'm sure I will not be alone!

My daughter has Mrs. Hodsdon for Kinder and she loves being in class. She has had a very positive experience with her teacher and gets challenged academically. We hope to have the same teacher for our following children!

My child attends Rosamond elementary . The school in general is good, but the principal does not work well with the parents or child.

I had 5 grandchildren in this school 10 years ago and we had nothing but good things to say. This past 2 years a new grandchild started here and it's the opposite of all we believed in. In my opinion, this Principle (Mrs Zaker) does not work well with parents. Two teachers in same grade level teach math two different ways, it's confusing to the children. I'm hoping this year will be a much better year.

I have had two sons attend this school for a total of 12yrs. I wouldn't my children to attend any other elementary. The teachers are tops and you couldn't ask for a better principal. The office staff is second to none.
