Our children have been in Merryhill Schools from pre-K. The Sierra Garden campus may not be the newest facility, but it's exceptional because of a couple of reasons: 1)Connie Curiel, the principal and 2) ALL the staff. The tuition is definitely not cheap, but well worth the price when one sees the interactive hours spent by staff per child . The results are seen in high academic and creative outcomes. Parent participation is consistently warm, friendly and collaborative. Teacher turnover is low to none. I have heard more than 3 different teachers say at different times that they stay, even when they can go elsewhere for better pay, because they love the families they serve in this campus. Personalized teaching is hard to find these days, but we've got it right HERE. Our daughters, although only 15 months apart, have vastly opposing personalities, interests, energy and pace. We attribute their almost-identical learning success to teachers' skills and diligence to execute a rigorous curriculum. Our only regret is that the middle school closed and that we will have to start looking elsewhere. Don't go anywhere else -- bring your kids here and prepare for a fun learning adventure!

All Merryhill schools are great, but this one is amazing in EVERY category! We've moved aroud a bit and have experienced 3 different Merryhills. We loved them all, but we were most impressed with Sierra Gardens. It's smaller than the other schools, and the teachers and principal truly care about each individual student. Even the aids and helpers are fantastic and very loving towards the students. The education is top notch, and all the students seem genuinely happy to be there. Mine sure were:) The tuition is pricy, but comparable to other private schools. But, you definitely get what you pay for. Unfortunately, my children no longer attend due to personal financial reasons. They are currently attending a public school in Rocklin and are ahead of their class! I attribute my 5 year old daughter's 2nd grade reading level to the wonderful Pre-K program at Sierra Gardens. Both of my children still talk about thier Merryhill teachers. Even my husband and I miss enteracting with the staff. If you are looking for a well-rounded school, this is it!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
