Not a good place for top learners. However, an excellent place to keep your children in a sheltered environment.

I think St Albans is wonderful school. The class size is limited to 24 children per grade which allows for a lot of individual attention. The kids are provided with enrichment classes such as spanish and music from pre-k on. The curriculum is both challenging and rewarding for the children. Parent involvement makes this school shine as a wonderful environment in which your children can really grow.

I love being part of the St. Albans family. My daughter was new to the school, and everyone was so welcoming. They only have 24 students per grade level. They wear adorable uniforms. They have band, chorus, and drama with many performances per year. Spanish is taught from kindergarten onward, by native speakers. The academics are the best in the area, and they also teach good values like honesty and respect. High price tag, but worth every pretty penny!

The academic programs are excellent. Music is limited to music history and drama. They have PE and afterschool sports. Afterschool sports are typically run by volunteer parents. They have other clubs, such as chess club and computer club. The parent involvement is very high.

St. Albans is truly a family school, with teachers, faculty, and parents working together cohesively, to educate children academically and socially. St. Albans provides unsurpassed quality of education making entrance into the school highly competitive. Students are well prepared for high school, college, and beyond.

This is a great small school (only 24 kids per grade) with amazing involement from parents. The school has great academic program and even greater Spanish program. The school can do a little better job with gifted and talented kids.

The academic programs at St. Albans is second to none in the Sacramento/Roseville California area. The standards for admission are kept high so the student population is a highly educated and bright group of individuals. The school administrators are very well organized and keeps the school running smooth as silk. The staff is academically oriented and most are experienced teachers with expertise in their areas. The parents are incredibly involved and are willing to donate their time and money to the school above and beyond what is required. Overall a wonderful school with high academic standards if you're able to pay the tuition.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
