I believe Rio Tierra supplies both academic and social growth for students. There are many programs that promote the social development that is needed for students to successed at the high school level. The academic programs at Rio Tierra are very structured and rigor. The placement of students by the counseling dept and adminstration is second to none! Great job Rio Tierra as being a positive aspect to the North Sacramento/Natomas area.

I am a new teacher at Rio Tierra, but I have been in teaching for 20 years. I believe the staff on this campus is very dedicated to the success of all students. Jr. Highs in our area have a lot of disruptions; however the principal, Paul Orlando works hard to maintain an orderly campus. The students have a positive attitude and work hard to learn the curriculum.
