My son has attended this school for 3 yrs. Almost 4 and I really loved the staff and the communication between staff and parents but I am very upset the principal has left and no one at the school never even bothered to say anything about her leaving we never knew until she was gone...

This school is staffed with great teachers and a great principal. The after school care program called Start is a very well ran and active place for my kids to attend. This school has a great family feel and we are happy to have our kids enrolled.

John Cabrillo Elementary is a great school for students to attend. They are focused on the student who need assistance in learning. The teacher really care about the students.

Very close to home. There is always staff outside in the morning when I drop my son off. The most important thing to me that this school offers is the free START afterschool program. My son's teacher is great and I feel like he is safe when he is at home.

John Cabrillo Elementry School I like that there is a lot of family functions but I think that the school can improve on the way some of the teachers and staff communicate with parents and students. sometimes rude and disrespectful.

John Cabrillo Elementary School i think this school is the best as it takes the time with the children. My kids love the activities and the involvement that the teachers as well as the principal has with them. The teachers are like family and they will never hesistate to keep you involved with what your child is doing or not doing. Also, accountability my children are held accountable and the standards are high and with this attribute it will take them so far in their academic career. They care for their school and their school cares about them. That is why this is a great school that my kids are blessed to attend.

My school is awesome, filled with wonderful teachers and staff...students are respectful, helpful and well behaved. Ms. Camerena at the front office is extra special. She is always smiling and help and always willing to help at ANY situation. Mrs. Baffico is fun and delightful, along with Mr. T & Mrs. Smooth and many other teacher that our family has come cross. We WILL MISS John Cabrillo!!!!....

This is an amazing school the teachers, principal and staff are awesome. we couldn't ask for any better for our kids. The extra activities such as dance, football, basketball and start program are absolutely great. we actually live in a different school area but are glad to get a waiver to keep our kids here. The morning anouncement with the pledge of allegeance is awesome. the principal is a very professional and a wonderful lady.

I think that John Cabrillo has a nice school campus. I believe there are some things that could be considered but that is the case in most all schools. I have learned with school choices you have to give and take. We like John Cabrillo because we have had the privilege of having our son be taught by some great teachers. School testing scores doesn't say everything!

DON'T LET THE SCORE FOOL YOU....! Good school, good location.... The Principal, Mrs. Baffico, is a really good leader and models excellent behavior for her staff and students. I have 2 children that currently attend, one with Autism and one without. Great Inclusive Program for children with some spectrum disorders, if they fit within the criteria for learning. My only problem would be that there isn't enough parent participation. Not the schools fault though, it's the parents. A lot of parents take the teaching process for granted. They need MORE parents to be involved on a consistent basis. If this happened, you would see that score change... I guarantee it...!!!!!

The principal and PTA president at this school are simply amazing. Very dedicated and know most of the children and their families by name. There has been a real push this year for family engagement and student test scores are increasing due to extra tutoring hours put in by teachers and the principal!
