From a student[becoming an 8th grader this year 2014-15] This school is improving, rebuilding, and changing. It's kind of ghetto, not a lot 'cause of the generation. The teachers&staff are kind, strict, stupid, fun, mean, serious, etc. We all feel/know how teachers&staff are. Now, the students, they're unique and talented. Some are mature or some are still there or just careless. Their are not a lot of troublemakers, just not as you think. Some blame because of teachers/staff. Some because of the students, them selves. About the school neighborhood, its okayish. There's noises and stuff, and it's changing. I live near so I know. PS. I hate this school, but I'm forcing myself that i have to like it and a school is just a school. Just need to pass this grade and high school here I come! There's more to tell, but I'm too lazy. |Trust my review.|
looking for rosa parks k-8? yeah, good luck finding any updated information since mark hopkins elementary merged with rosa parks middle school. this school is horrible. simply horrible. there is very little education going on when most of class time is spent disciplining students who have no idea how to act in a classroom setting (which, unfortunately, is 90% of the students that attend this school). if you value your child's education, this is definitely not the institution to place them in.
This school reflects the neighborhood. I wouldn't want to live there, and I wouldn't want my kids to attend school here. Schools in this area simply pass along the students. There is no education for the majority of students... and it doesn't matter if they fail all of their classes... they are still passed along to the next grade. Near 50% of students read consistently between a second and third grade level.
this school terrible most student ditch class and smoke weed in the bathroom only to get caught soon after. The teachers are worse than the students most are on there phones and havve extreme amounts of attitude
