If your going to have your kid go to CKM then your going to want them to go into HISP. I have kids in the program and they say it is much better than just the regular teaching environment... They have the better kids in that program and they stay out of trouble. Go Lions!

We have wonderful teachers and students. Drama and marching band still exist at our high school. The building and grounds are beautiful thanks to our great staff. We have a lot of parental involvement.

Love this school! My son is in HISP which is an awesome program and is preparing him and challenging his as well. It keeps him with a good crowd which is important. No danger problems at all. A++

I'm a former student. Sciences and mathematics are seriously lacking at this school. HISP, however, is a fantastic program for English and the various social sciences.

We have been very pleased with the school and Principal Clark. She has been very responsive and is moving forward to bring back the quality and tradition of CKM. Safety has not been a problem.

me and my sister enrolled in this school this year and honestly, we do not like it at all. sure, the teachers are cool and the staff is nice for the most part, but the students arent. weve gotten dirty looks and when we sat down in the cafeteria, everyone at the table got up. its not a very welcoming school and i dont feel safe.

Too large classroom size. How are students accommodated? Discipline seeming would be a factor. Plus for reviews for academics.

McClatchy is an overall great school. I am currently a senior, and I ca honestly say that I have never once felt in danger. The environment is very friendly. for those who are overachievers, or who want a challenge, HISP would be great. The staff is friendly, and are willing to help those who need it in order to insure everyone graduates.

This school has prepared me for real life. It has provided me with every opportunity I could have asked for! Plus, I feel comfortable going out into the real world, I wasn't overly sheltered as a CKM student.
