Encina is a really good school and i feel that it's been streorytyped. The teachers really do care about there students and there's alot of one on one time due to the small class sizes. I transfered from El Camino my junior year and i feel that I'm finally getting the education i desreved.

I feel that Encina is an all right school. The teachers very much do care and try very hard to teach. One teacher especially Mrs. Begg, my Honors English teacher. We are now creating a campaign to make the school lunches better. If the school luches were better more students would be motivated.

Poor quality of education. This school is another waste of tax dollars in the San Juan USD. Parental involvement by the administration is not well received at all. I wonder if they have any sort of 'plan' at all.

This school is dedicated to excellence and supporting all students in the learning process. The teachers are well trained and are heavily involved in their students' lives.

I feel encina could benefit from having more funds put into their school. The students are lacking in their sports quality of coaches which if the student is a well rounded athlete this could hinder his chances for a athletic scholorship. The uniforms are non-existent which affects the spirit and attitude of the players, the freshmans haved no cheerleading squad. Academics I feel the fact that there are four classes instead of 6 makes the time allotted for learning individual subjects shorter.

My opinion is that it is not one of the better schools in this area. there is a low level of parental involvement. and academics is somewhat lower than the other schools in this area.

Encina High does not have a good learning environment. Parental involvment is greeted with skepticism. discipline is a large problem.
