Salida Middle School - Vella Campus

Very dissapointed in administration & staff. My child is a newly transferred student and so far has learned nothing. Staff is more concerned about shirts being tucked in and student following strict dress code than teaching. My child has complained about inappropriate behavior (verbal & physical) and has trouble listening and staying cofussed on subject due to constant distraction. Very frustrating. Will try to find an alternative...

I've been going to this school for 2 years now. It's been really great actually though, the rules are much tougher now and that's not a good thing. Sometimes the students are a bit rowdy but the new no F policy is working and the after-school help classes are great for the students falling behind! Still I recommend loosening up on the dress code rules. It's killing the students!

I was very impressed with the sixth grade teachers at this school. However, some of the teachers are a disappoinment. I expected the teachers here to be professional and determined in their approach to teaching. So far I am disappointed
