my three boys go to sisk the teacher are all very nice as well as all the staff as for the larger class size they do seem to care about kids falling behind and they look out for your children to put the in the intervention programs which seem to help.I also like that they have a good perorming arts which i really enjoy watching .
Sisk Elementary helped my child more quickly. She was below average and now average, thank you for teaching my child.Iwill give good reports to the Salida District.
this school is awful no suppervision
I just enrolled my children in Sisk after moving to Salida, and I'm glad I did! My eldest child is in the fourth grade, and up until now I felt that he had not been getting a good education. Sisk really expects more from him than his previous school did, and I feel that they really care about him as an individual.
My children have been attending Sisk Elementary school for five years now. I am very pleased with all the staff that is at the school. The teachers are wonderful. They help their students to succeed in every aspect of their academic course. Programs are the best. They have the reading program where they stimulate students to read and read. Keep up the good work Sisk School!
I am very unhappy with the way that the reinforcement in the school to get the children to do what the teacher and staff want them to do is in my judgement negative. I know that positive reinforcement works way better that a negative reinforcement. My grandchild seems most of the time defeated when he hasn't even really started yet. He is a bright child and there is no reason for this.
My oldest daughter has attended Sisk for 4 years. The teachers have all been wonderful, and I believe that my children have received a high quality education. I have never had any complaints about the school. I especially like their reading program, and their award/recognition program.
My child is currently enrolled at Sisk Elementary in first grade. In the year that he has been there, I seem to have enjoyed the friendly staff. My son loved the teachers that he has had and his potentials are encouraged by his teachers. So I have no complains inregards to this school.
You just can't get any better than Sisk! I did a district transfer for my son and drive him twenty minutes each way just to attend this school. He is a bright child that needs the proper guidance and activities to succeed. All of his teachers have tapped into that and he excells. The library and computer lab are awesome, as well as the administration and support staffs. Their test results back all this up. The whole district is great.
