Virtually everybody on the staff at MLK Academy helps others. I have never seen a staff that helps others so much.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Academy has nearly completed its third year of operation. We have increased test scores by over 75 API points in two years. We offer many after-school academic and enrichment programs. We are the only school in the Alisal District with a full science lab and we also offer three mobile student laptop carts. Students focus on three major areas of study: language arts, mathematics, and science. The teachers at this school represent expertise in all of the curricular areas and 'go the extra mile' to maximize students' success.
