My student had the BEST second grade teacher last year. Mrs. Rapp was amazing at reaching all of the students in her classroom, giving them pride not only in their school, and classroom but in themselves. If there was ever an issue with behavior/bullying Mrs. Rapp nipped it in the bud. I was saddened to find out she move out of state and won't be back to teach my my daughter who is in first grade now.
WOW....my children have been attending this school for 4 years and I was just emailed a letter that threatened to pull my children from this school(they are on intradistrict transfer) because they were sick at the start of last year!! First of all I pay the taxes, it is the taxpayers that keep the schools open...second of all its funny every day I get a phone call asking to support the school. If this school does not want my children there I will be more than happy to send them to a charter school where they will learn more anyway..but do not threaten me because I did not send my children to school sick, instead you need to thank me!!!!
Kammann is an excellent school for students to attend. I do wish their were no buget cuts but there is just no money. The teachers do the best they can do with what they have.
I feel the teachers at Kammann really do care about their students. I wish there was more parent involvement, though.
The only problem about Kamman is that there is no parent involvement. There are a couple of core people throwing their hearts into helping not only their children but your as well make this school better. The money problems dont come from the school itself, it comes from the government and how much they cut. I am very happy with the school and where it has gone in the pas
Availability of art and music is pathetic, there is none, well none worth talking about. The children are not disciplined properly.
