Laurel Wood Elementary School

Laurel Wood School is a community of learners. The teaching staff continually tries to improve their ability to teach our students to their highest potential. Our parents care about what goes on at school and participate in ways to make our efforts successful. The students come to school ready to learn. They seem to believe it is a safe place to ask questions and make mistakes. As a teacher I feel trusted and supported. It is a joy to teach at Laurel Wood.

I am a parent of two children ages 11 and 8 my son will be starting 6th grade and has attended Laurewood since kinder! I love this school it has taught my children so much, they have wonderful teachers, excelent support staff, wonder office clerks, and most importantly the atmosphere and dedication of all the parents!

I'm currently a student at Laurel Wood school,I love it there!I've been going there since kindergarten and I'm currently in sixth grade. You wont be disappointed if you enrol your kids there I promise,thanks for reading this.

I have had two sons who have attended this school. Both my wife and I have been very impressed with the parental and teacher involvement in this school. The teachers are caring and responsive with a great environment for our kids to learn in. The grounds are well maintained and the facilities look new. We moved into this neighborhood due to this school and have never been disappointed in our choice.

Our two sons love this school. The Principal is very active and open to parent input. Teachers are well supported by parents and the community. The school facilities are well maintained and the playground area is brand new! The classes are open to parents and both teachers have been very helpful in anwering questions.

The academic programs is good at Laurel Wood. I don't see much extracurricular activities available for the kids. Parent involvment seems to be very good
