Amazing school with wonderful teachers who actually care! I wish i went here but next year i may be attending for 8th grade. I am very excited, but i need to find out how to get forms so I can transfer to this school from my current school, Mckinleyville Middle School. if anyone can help i would very much appreciate it thank you.

I love Peninsula Elementary School! They are currently smaller than anyone would like to see, but we all would like to hope that since this is a K-8 School, that parents may have their kids come here instead of being scattered all over the city of Eureka. Also, I applaude the teaching techniques of a 'hands on' and more meaningful ways of learning and understanding. The school site also has special needs classrooms. This benefits all the children by learning from eachothers strengths and differences. This school has major potential. If only more people realized it was there.

A good school with caring teachers. Small classes is a plus. The downfall was students were at a social disadvantage when entering high school due remoteness and small school size.

The quality of academic programs is awful. Everyone I know that has graduated from this school has gone off to high school and been rather bad at it. There isn't much availibility on any extracurricular activities in this school because they don't have the money to buy any equipment for them. They just bought a brand new bus and they can't afford a bus driver. However, the level of parent involvement is fairly high. They always take an iniative in knowing how there child is doing in school and if they aren't doing very well, they go to the school and talk to the teachers about it.
