Emmerton has always been staffed by caring, hard working staff. The aim is to give the children a safe place with high expectations. I agree with the discipline issues and concerns. New administration this year may change this trend.
Good school with caring teachers. It's a real pity that the administration refuses to remain consistent or fair. Problem children should not be rewarded for causing trouble. My child is a good kid but questions why certain students in her class cause problems and get to go to 'recess club' to play boardgames and stay out of class longer.
Wonderful school even [though] the neighborhood isn't the best. The teachers are very caring.
